Mon, June 8, 2009 - 9:49 PMIf you're going to Gaskell for the first time -- unless you already know how to waltz and polka and mazurka and how to do the Sir Roger de Coverley and Strip the Willow and Congress of Vienna -- then make sure you take the basic dance class offered by the Society on the afternoon before the Ball:

That will definitely help you learn the ropes.

Mon, June 22, 2009 - 11:20 AMThanks to all of you who responded; I thought I was getting notifications about people responding but I wasn't, so didn't see these until today when I came sniffing around for pictures!
I had a really nice time at the ball and will definitely attend future ones as well!
